Eh....good and not so good.....

That's the best way to describe my "fun" day Monday in court....for seven hours.....being immensely pregnant and having to see my ex for that long a period of time, let's be grateful no one is in jail or dead....well, somewhat grateful.... :)

So....the good news, Natalie's father can cry all he wants, the child support WILL stay the new higher value as determined in December, no shirkin' that one buddy! Also....got to hear the referee (who was a scary scary woman I tell ya!) put him IN HIS PLACE about trying to think he was better for Nat than myself...ha!!! That was fantastic :)

On to the shit news in my opinion....somehow, someway, he is qualified to have his every other weekend visitation back.....but not until May 20th (thank you Peanut for sparing mamma the car travel time while HUGELY preggo) which would roughly be a year since he has had Nat. Yep, wishin' I could be a mouse for THAT trip!!! I'm shitty about this and beyond hurt for Nat, I mean, ok....let's think about this, a man that hasn't wanted his daughter since SHE WAS CONCEIVED....was totally fine having every other week visits in Michigan because let's face it, Nat was in daycare all the time so he didn't have to deal with her, was fine giving up his visitation last june when "nat got too tough to control" and hasn't wanted her since then UNTIL he finds out he has to pay more money....THEN suddenly, Oh I want my daughter back??? WHAT-THE-FUCK-EVER dude. Can't wait til he changes his mind again after three months and then I can legally gain sole custody of Natalie. Please keep your fingers crossed that this isn't too traumatizing for Nat, because spending ten hours in a car every other weekend to see a man she hasn't in a year can NOT be in this kid's best emotional interest let alone physically have YOU spend that much time in a carseat lately?? Now, Britax does have some nice padding but my Gawd, MY ass is tired after an hour in a normal seat, can't imagine a carseat!!!!

Anywhoo......that is the newest drama, please please hope that whatever is done is best for nat....if he keeps up the visits, fine and dandy, but let's face it, WHEN he decides its too much effort to drive every other wknd, let alone his bitch of a girlfriend deciding she can't stand that my child is independant :) then please hope it's not too rough on Nat to go back to how life has been for nearly a year!! I would walk thru fire for this little girl to see her not be hurt by anyone, and I know that's not possible, but to spare her the drama of what's coming up, I would do ANYTHING....wish the court would have seen that as well, but atleast shit is documented thoroughly now and I already know a good lawyer :)

Peanut is doing good, I'm measuring about two weeks bigger than I am supposed to be (with only 12 pounds gained so far at 30 weeks!!) so this is a bit concerning to my ob, they want to do an ultrasound my next appointment if I am still measuring big to see what's going on, make sure Peanut isn't a monster etc lol Bp is awesome, no swelling or contractions to report and other than the MONGO amount of iron I am taking now (325 mg daily!!!!) I'm all good as well :) Got her pack n play (thank you grammy and grampy!) and will have crib and stroller/carseat this coming week....now.....diapers, must stock up on diapers ha ha

SOOOOO proud of Nat, she grabbed my Indy Zoo keychain that my other Mom and Dad got me this past fall and told me the letters in order of my name! So awesome, she loves going to Kohl's and Babies R Us because she can point out all the letters, she asks us constantly what time it is (not sure why but it's cute) and wants to know what day it is, etc. Is very interested in street signs and highway billboards, and is continually asking what letter a word starts with.....loves her Tag books, can read a few short words from her Cars book (car, dirt, fast) aaaack!!!! too soon!!! :)

Still duking it out for a name for Peanut! The final two are down to Olivia and Emerson....now I like both but am soooo rooting for Emerson, I've LOVED that name for YEARS.....and of course Phil hates it and is dead set on Olivia....Nat says we can't name her baby sister after a pig lol and those of you that watch Nick Jr. will know exactly what I'm talking about :)

Sigh...people are idiots....

Cracks me up that a father that has not had interest in a child for just over 8 months can suddenly (ie: when his child support is raised) think that he would be a better parent and file for sole custody.....cracks me the fuck up, pardon my french :) Anywhoo....off I schlep to Michigan 30 weeks pregnant to have not one, not two, but three different hearings, two with a Judge and one with a referee, oughta be a good time I tell ya lol Wish me luck that the court follows paper documentation and facts instead of lies and that the best thing for my baby girl happens Monday which would obviously be to stay with me since I have never stopped loving her, never will, and have never shirked my duties nor thought I could be a parent when it's convenient for me!!

In Peanut news....passed my glucose tolerance test, WHOO FREAKING HOO!!! But...of course turns out I'm super duper anemic and get to be on prescription iron for the remainder of the pregnancy....only nine more weeks, NINE MORE WEEKS, yikes!!! NOT ready for Peanut to be here yet!!

Um....wow......

Could I slack off ANY more??? So....where to even begin on what has gone on since 4th of July....well, for starters, yeah, I'm pregnant :) Due May 5th but Peanut will be making HER debut sometime end of April (yes, we know it's a girl and no, we do not have a name for her yet). Nat is thrilled at being a big sister which amuses me and yet scares the ever loving bejeesus out of me, let's hope she continues to be thrilled! Nat and I have been in Indy now nearly a year, which blows my mind because somedays it feels like I've been here forever and then others it feels like just a week or two....scary.....Natalie has seen her S.D. a total of three hours since the last post where I spoke of him giving up his custody because he's a selfish lazy good for nothing prick....did I type that? :) I'm happy because she is much better off without him and is thriving being away from that drama! She only asks to see him the once a week he manages to call and otherwise could care less, good for you little girl! Funny side note though....he is taking me to court Feb. 22nd for "denying him his parenting time" the man wanted us to drive five hours to saginaw for him to take her for three hours.....I don't eff'n think so buddy! NOW who is going against what is best for Nat! Other than that, thrilled that I just won a child support battle and he will be paying a reasonable amount finally to support his daughter that he doesn't want to see....loser.....

Had some good holidays this year, Nat and I spent Halloween in Michigan and went trick or treating with Uncle Ty (he was a cereal killer, wicked cool Pops costume :) and Nat was a skeleton...yeah, she picked it out.....I just roll with it lol Got to have a fantastic birthday dinner with Christina, Andrew, Nat, Todd, Katie and Mom and Dad Tubb at Zehnder's, mmm mmm mmm!! Thanksgiving was spent in Ohio with the whole fam dam :) And Christmas was spent partly here with Phil and then the rest of the weekend in Ohio again because Thomas was home! My baby cousin is in Afghanistan right now deployed for atleast seven months, PLEASE pray for him to stay safe! Nat had a ball with "her Tom" and we are very very grateful to have spent the weekend with all the fam at Aunt Marcia's, lots of laughs and photos, miss Nana something fierce that's for sure and here's hoping Beebs continues to do well!

So.....that's it in a nutshell the past seven months lol Still wishing that family and/or friends would come visit us, but your loss! I've made several trips to Mich and Ohio and won't be doing anymore traveling after my court date for awhile as I'll be 30 wks preggo for that and then having peanut shortly thereafter! The fam reunion end of June will be my first Ohio trip and won't be back in Mich til end of July for Marie's 21st bday celebration of life. Can't wait to meet Peanut and have Nat bond with her and am just over the moon at the thought of big strapping Phil holding a teeny newborn :)

Independance Day

Happy Fourth of July!!!! :) Just got home from a great day spent at Ron and Angel's house, had lots of yummy food and the kids had a blast with the loot Ron and I picked out today....it is THE coolest thing to live in a state where fireworks are legal :) Nat even did sparklers and poppers! I was so proud of her, lots of pics that's for sure! I think Ron and Phil MIGHT have had even just a bit more fun than the kids lol Good friends, good times, good laughter, must repeat often :)

Geez, I'm a lousy blogger.....

So.....we got home from Saginaw, few days later, Nat had her last visit with her sperm donor or S.D. as I will now refer to him (hm...that works for a nickname of selfish dick too.....) :) and we just got home from a weekend spent in Ohio for a fam reunion! Good times, Phil has been properly introduced to the Bell/Businger side of the fam now and still wants to be with me, that's a bonus! :) Josh survived his week with us, we had a lot of fun actually! The saturday that Nat was with S.D. the three of us (phil, josh n myself) wandering around downtown, and then a fabulous steak dinner with Ron and Angel at the "swanky" little dive bar between our houses lol Good times I tell ya, good times.....Nat and I have been having a ball with the Elmo sprinkler and the kiddie pool, it's been HOT as hades and HUMID as a rainforest lately so it's been nice to chill in the backyard and be comfy. Still gotta find the poor kid a swimsuit.....it's on my list......
Miss Ohio a lot more than I thought, would love to be back with the fam right now, even though Pawpaw has no a/c upstairs, whew, that was hot this weekend! Still a good weekend overall and I was definately very sorry to see it come to an end :( Love ya guys!!
Not a whole lot more going on here, STILL no job which is just freaking awful, so cross your fingers there for me please, or win the lottery, that would be nice! :) Not too much planned for the rest of the summer, 4th of July fireworks at Republic again, not holding my breath for anymore visitors this summer, and probably not any visits to michigan anytime soon!

Whoo hoo for travel!!

Going to be back in Saginaw this weekend for the first time since I left...March 7th....feels like longer some days lol Then next weekend it's a quick trip for Nat's last visit to her father for God knows how long and the following weekend, Businger reunion!! yay!! Whew, that's a lot of car-bum hours being logged but so worth it to see everyone....now....to convince everyone to come see ME in Indy!! :) Still on the hunt for the ever-elusive first shift job, going NUTS with no money and little adult interraction lol as well as Nat going nuts being stuck with me all day long...not sure who is battier at the moment....

Got to see the Blue Angels last weekend; Phil, myself, Nat and Michael all went to the Indy Air Show, had a ball, Nat was NOT such a fan of the jets and spent much of the performance with her hands over her ears but overall did very well and even got to get her pic taken in a cockpit! So cool :)

Phil's friend Josh (www.myspace.com/fiftytwofriends) will be staying with us for a week starting June 18th, part of his Fifty Two friends project, very cool idea, not sure I'd ever be brave enough to do it, but very cool nonetheless! So excited as Josh is our first "guest" since I moved down here! Hoping for nice weather instead of more thunderstorms, ick.

Ok, I've been a fan of Leary's acting since I started watching Rescue Me on FX, LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. Yesterday, an old friend made me aware that not only does Denis act, he sings....not very well lol but a freaking hilarious song called Asshole....funny funny funny stuff :)
