Oy....so poor Nat got stung by her first bee this evening....IN the house of all places! Still can't figure out how bees are getting into our house but this is numero tres and it's ticking me off. Luckily, she does not appear to be allergic (famous last words....) and only got a wee bump and a lot of redness. A quick dose of Advil for the "ouchie right there" and an ice cube wrapped up in a dishcloth seemed to help. NOT a fan of the baking powder paste lol Demanded I wipe off the stuff on her arm little turkey. That's just one more to add to the line of creepy crawlies currently residing with us....a few weeks ago it was house centipedes (do NOT google, will scar you for life!!) yes, I know they are good for your house, YOU see one racing across your floor and see how fast you think it's good for the house, let it go.....riiiight......and THEN let your three year old see a bug longer than her fingers with lots of legs and antenna, I dare ya ;) Oh and spiders, lots of little grass spiders....oh and ants, yep, did I mention ants??? Let's just say a certain little crumb-leaver is not allowed to have food or drink in her room anymore......shudder.....sick of creepy crawlies......
I'm homesick...not for Michigan but for all my friends, I miss you guys! And fam too :) Can't believe Retro Rocks has changed, that's just bizarre to me, Christina, we need a girl's night out!!!
Can't wait for the holiday weekend...all sorts of fun planned for Phil and I while Nat is with...well, we know who she's with, don't make me tarnish my blog :) Phil has sat. off, and he's not on call, so we have the WHOLE weekend to ourselves!!! YAY!! Anyone got any fun plans?? I tell you what, we are for sure avoiding any tourist-y spot this weekend, have fun race fans, wouldn't want to be ya! :)
We need visitors...I found a whole bunch of cool resteraunts and stuff to do, just need someone to go with me! ~hint, hint c'mon mom!!!~
